We need everybody on mute for an unforgettable literary experience as we bring the joy of reading to life in the heart of Cleveland! With 200+ enthusiastic volunteers, community members, and stakeholders, this event promises to be a celebration of books like no other.

Join us at the Cleveland READS Freeze Reading Flash Mob and be a part of this unique literary celebration. Whether you’re an avid reader, a community member, or a passionate stakeholder, this event is for YOU. 

• Get a FREE Book: As a token of our appreciation for your participation, we’re giving away FREE books to all attendees! It’s our way of spreading the love for reading. Book pick-up will be from 10:15 to 10:50 a.m. in the Indoor Reading Garden of the Louis Stokes Wing of Cleveland Public Library.
• Join the Flash Mob: Join us from 11:00 a.m. – 11:20 p.m. at Cleveland Public Library and read in silence for 20 minutes.
• Help Us Log Minutes: We’re also logging the minutes we spend reading collectively. Your participation in the flash mob will contribute to our “Reading for a Cause” initiative, where every minute spent reading helps make a difference.
