The Art Box in Asia Town

The ArtBox at East 33rd St. and Payne Ave. is a whole lot in a small space: it's a mini library, an art-making space, and a community gathering spot. 

Open from 10am - 2pm every Saturday from June 1 - October 5 and on select Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 4 - 8pm, the ArtBox offers books, kids activities and crafts, art-making opportunities for all ages, and workshops & special events including the following: 

Saturdays, June 1 - August 3: Altered Books Art Workshops (teens & adults, registration is required) 
Saturday, June 1 from 12 - 3pm - Fix-It CLE Repair Clinic & Bike Workshop 
Tuesday, June 4 from 4 - 8pm - Family Free Play @ Pop-Up Park & the Art Cart 
Thursday, June 6 from 4 - 8pm - Family Free Play @ Pop-Up Park & the Art Cart 
Saturday, June 15 from 10am - 2pm - Community Cleanup Day
