Unleash Your Creativity with Nature's Canvas: A Hands-On Workshop by Rebecca Louise Law

 Rebecca Louise Law, creator of The Archive exhibit at Main Library (325 Superior Ave.), leads you to explore the magic of making artwork with natural materials.Drop in at the ArtBox in Asia Town (3236 Payne Ave.) between 4 and 8pm to craft your own unique artwork using nature's gifts, guided by Law's expertise and artistic vision. Everyone is welcome, from curious beginners to experienced artists, including teens ages 14 & up.

Explore the intricate textures, vibrant colors, and organic forms that nature provides, breathing life into your creations with every stroke and arrangement.  While shaping your masterpiece, you'll also be encouraged to pen personal diary entries, capturing the emotions, inspirations, and stories that unfold during this enchanting experience. Let your words flow freely, weaving a tapestry of memories that will forever be intertwined with your artistic endeavor.

If you haven't visited The Archiveyet, stop by Brett Hall at Main Library (325 Superior Ave.) before July 28. The exhibit is open Monday through Saturday from 10am - 6pm during regular library hours and special Sunday Hours of noon to 4pm on Sundys from June 2 through July 28. (Please note that only the exhibit is open on Sundays.  The rest of the library is closed.)  Don't miss the July 10 screening of a short documentary about the exhibit accompanied by an interview and conversation with the artist and a recepion afterward. Stay tuned at cpl.org for more information about a chance to watch as the exhibit is disassembled, as well. .
