Sports Discussion Group: 1920 World Series

As part of the celebration of Main Library's 100th Anniversary, we will take a look back at the biggest Cleveland sports moment of the 1920s.

The Cleveland Indians defeated Brooklyn in the 1920 World Series, delivering the first-ever pro sports championship to Cleveland. They overcame the death of beloved teammate Ray Chapman, who was killed during a August game. Join us as we discuss this amazing season and incredible accomplishment.
