Library Sound Bites
This week's performance will feature The Moon Roses are a band that combines mid-century folk and Americana with the post-British invasion sounds of T. Rex and early punk into a style they dub “glam country.” Their sensitive lyrics, combined with pastoral riffs, reflect the softness of George Jones and the “lost in space” feelings of early Bowie.
Library Sound Bites is a midday escape - a live music series bringing joy and discovery to your lunch break. This summer program features talented musicians from across a wide range of genres. Grab your lunch, find a seat, and listen to the music play!
Library Sound Bites performances are from 12:00-1:00pm on select days in June, July, and August at Hough Campus and MLK Jr. Campus as well. All performances are free and open to the public.
