Young Scholars' Academy: Beginner

The Young Scholars' Academy Beginner is a kindergarten readiness program for scholars ages 3-4 with their parent(s) or other adult member of the family. The lessons are based on Every Child Ready to Read. There is a storytime, hands on activities, and parents are provided with researched-based tips, high quality books and materials to support learning opportunities at home. 


Our 2026 sessions are offered in-person for 10 weeks at Martin Luther King Jr. Campus, and Eastman Campus.
