We Speak for the Trees: Poetry Reading and Exhibit Closing Reception

Please join us in the Eastman Reading Garden for a poetry reading and light refreshments at the closing reception for the exhibit, The Nature of Our Times, a collaboration with The Wick Poetry Center. The poetry reading will feature poets from the recently published anthology, and an open mic for community poets of all ages to share their contribution to the “Pledge” poem, and other nature-based writing.

In honor of Earth Day on April 22nd, guests are also invited to visit the Plant Swap, or take home a free tree native tree sapling. This event is made possible through generous support by Ohio Center for the Book and the First Energy Green Team.

Featured poets include, Paula J. Lambert, Cathryn Essinger, Jason Harris, Ray McNiece, and Carrie George
