Author Visit: Honoring Their Memory by Lauren R. Pacini

The Cuyahoga County Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument, designed by Levi T. Scofield, was dedicated on July 4, 1894 to honor the memory of more than 9,000 residents of Cuyahoga County, Ohio who served and sacrificed in the Union Army during the Civil War (1861-65).  Through contemporary photography and the inclusion of vintage text, the story is told in the context of the architect's life and his broader body of work, as seen through ten extant projects.

Books will be available for sale and signing after the author's presentation.
