DESCRIPTION:What's better than a beach read?  A library at the beach 
 stocked with great reads!  The Book Box at Edgewater Park offers books\, 
 DVDs\, CDs\, and other library materials. Enjoy your favorite finds at the 
 beach. Or tuck them away to enjoy them at home. You can even return items 
 you've checked out from the library and sign up for a library card.\n\nThe 
 Book Box hosts plenty of fun\, FREE activities and crafts for kids (and the 
 inner kid hiding inside most adults)\, along with FREE special events\, 
 activities\, and programs like presented by the Cleveland Public Library 
 and community partners including the Cleveland MetroParks\, WVIZ 
 Ideastream\, Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Laboratory School of Environment and 
 Natural Resources\, and more. \n\nHere are a few highlights\, but you may 
 also find surprise\, pop-up activities and events at any time\, so visit 
 often and make this a Book Box at Edgewater summer for your whole family! 
 \n\nSPLASH INTO STORIES: Hourly\, during rest periods\, enjoy fun stories 
 and learn important water safety lessons taught by lifeguards and park 
 rangers. \n\nBEACHSIDE BOOK ADVENTURES & ENVIRONMENTAL EXPORATION 
 (Fridays\, June 13\, July 11\, and August 15 from 12:30 - 5:30pm) Transform 
 beach time into a fun\, comprehensive summer learning adventure for kids 
 ages 7 - 12\, combining literacy\, environmental education\, marine 
 technology\, lake conservation\, water safety\, hands-on robotics 
 workshops\, and marine science to inspire young learners and introduce them 
 to environmental stewardship. Presented in partnership with Ohio Sea 
 Grant\, Stone Laboratory School of Environment and Natural Resources. 
 \n\nNOTE: The Edgewater Book Box is open weather and water conditions 
 permitting. Check Cleveland Public Library social media for any updates or 
 cancellations.\nParents/guardians are required to always supervise their 
 children near water. \n\n \n
